Curtain Raiser Event: States and Climate Change
18 September, 2013, at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi
The Conclave will have a curtain raiser symposium titled “States and Climate Change” on 18th September 2013. The symposium will focus on the state action plans, the strategies devised at the state level and role of business and industry in engaging at the state level. Role of private sector to successfully implement these action plans becomes paramount for mitigation initiatives.
The curtain raiser event will showcase different State Action Plans for Climate Change with a focus on the actions undertaken by different states to operationalize the action plans. Besides the state action plans, the curtain raiser will also provide a showcase opportunity for global case studies on actions at state and city levels and domestic case studies for state and city specific initiatives.
