Clean Energy Expo China 2011 Wins Praises from Participants

As a result, CEEC will be expanded to 35,000 sqm. It is further confirmed the event will be relocated back to the China International Exhibition Center (CIEC) situated in downtown Beijing which is expected to facilitate better product segregation and, at the same time, showcase the entire renewable energy portfolio in one venue. Exhibitors and visitors will see dedicated halls for different exhibit categories.

The collaboration is poised to elevate CEEC to a higher level with the support of new partners and an augmented product group line-up.

The German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) is the latest government body to recognize the importance of CEEC and has included the event in its world-wide assistance program to showcase German technology.

More governments and trade bodies are expected to use CEEC as a door into China’s vast renewable energy market, with new national pavilions expected from Switzerland and Japan.

Based on a report released by Pew Charitable Trusts in March, China’s 2010 investment in the clean energy sector rose by 39 percent, totaling US $ 54.4 billion. The country accounted for close to 50 percent of the global investment in both wind and solar power. This figure is set to grow as China’s latest 12th Five-Year Plan continues to place strong emphasis on developing wind, solar as well as bio-energy.

Organized by the China Electricity Council, Koelnmesse and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council, Clean Energy Expo China 2012 Exhibition and Conference will return to the China International Exhibition Center, Beijing from February 23 to 25, 2012.
